Privacy notice

This privacy notice explains how Ink Lines handles personal data under Singapore's PDPA.
Who operates this site
Priya operates Ink Lines as a personal blog at inkhavenpro.life. There is no company entity, no partnership, and no editorial board behind these pages. I write in my own name from my HDB flat.
Personal data I may receive
When you send email, your address and message arrive in my inbox. I do not operate a contact form, newsletter, or comment system that collects data automatically. Any information you share is what you choose to type.
Hosting and server logs
Independent hosting may record technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp. I use those logs only for security and basic maintenance, not for profiling visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies remember your cookie choice for up to six months. Functional cookies, if enabled, allow embedded Google Maps to load. Analytics cookies remain off unless you explicitly enable them — this site does not load analytics scripts by default.
Google Maps on every page
Each page includes a neighbourhood-scale Google Maps embed showing the author's block area. Google may process data when the iframe loads. Maps are always visible; use Manage cookies to adjust optional preferences.
Why data is used
Email is used to reply to you. Logs help maintain security. Cookie choices are stored to respect your preferences across visits. I do not sell personal data or compile mailing lists from casual readers.
Legal basis and PDPA
Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, I rely on consent for optional cookies and legitimate interest for essential site operation and security. You may withdraw consent for optional categories at any time using Manage cookies.
Retention periods
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the conversation and then archived or deleted at my discretion. Cookie consent records expire after one hundred eighty days unless renewed. Server logs rotate on the host's schedule.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or withdrawal of consent by emailing [email protected]. I will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe I hold inaccurate information about you, tell me what to amend.
Third-party services
Primary third parties are independent hosting and Google Maps. Their policies apply when you interact with their services. I do not integrate social login, advertising networks, or payment processors.
Cross-border transfers
Email and hosting providers may process data outside Singapore depending on their infrastructure. I choose providers with reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee every server location.
Security measures
I protect my inbox and hosting credentials with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. No online transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive identifiers unnecessarily.
Children
This blog is written for general adult readers and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Updates to this notice
This notice may change when practices or legal requirements shift. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

Ink Lines is a personal blog. Everything here reflects my own experiences and opinions. It is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or news-reporting advice. The Chin Swee note describes only what I heard and saw from my distance. If you spot an error, email me and I will correct it.
